Dr. Ronald S. Perlman is a highly-skilled and well-established Plastic Surgeon who has been practicing in the Washington, D.C. area for over 25 years. His successful business includes patients from the Metropolitan area as well as those from across the United States and internationally.
Dr. Perlman graduated Magna Cum Laude from American University with his undergraduate degree and received his medical degree from Howard University. He completed his residency at Georgetown University Hospital and completed a Hand and Micro Vascular fellowship at the University of Alabama Hospital. He is a member of the American Medical Association and National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Perlman has appeared on many T.V. and radio programs discussing the various aspects of cosmetic, reconstructive and laser surgery. He has also served as judge for a number of beauty pageants including, Hawaiian Tropic, Miss USA and Mrs. USA.
In addition to a busy surgery schedule, Dr. Perlman sits as Chairman of the Board for Second Chance Employment Services. A non-profit organization that assists women in abusive situations to obtain gainful employment. Second Chance offers education, counseling and healthcare for these women and their families. Dr. Perlman has provided many pro-bono services to assist those involved with Second Chance for the past six years. It gives him great pleasure to provide such services and improve ones appearance so they may regain their confidence and self esteem.
Dr. Perlman helps support the Sullivan Breast Health Center by having a yearly fund raiser in October to benefit breast cancer patients. Dr. Perlman is both proud and pleased to support the extensive efforts of the Sullivan Center and its recipients.
