Richard A. Faulkner, Founder and CEO of IQ Exchange. 

IQX establishes a virtual marketplace where companies can significantly reduce their overhead through ‘loaning and borrowing’ versus ‘hiring and letting go of’ their contract employees.  From 1996 to 2005, LTC Faulkner held executive level positions in operations, supply-chain, technology and manufacturing with Amazon.com, K-Mart’s Bluelight.com, Target and The Pillsbury Company.  

In February 2005, he returned to active duty with HQ, U.S. Army Materiel Command in the G-3, Current Operations Division.  In March 2006, he was appointed as Program Manager for the Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), a system to manage and track contractors; and was detailed to OSD-ATL-Program Support, Pentagon where he led program implementation within the Department of Defense and the Department of State.  He deployed numerous times to both Iraq and Afghanistan to oversee program implementation.  In March 2012, he was detailed to OSD-P&R, Defense Manpower Data Center, where he continued working the SPOT program, and implemented a system of sharing electronic healthcare records between DOD and the Department of Veterans Affairs.  SPOT received numerous industry and governmental program awards under his leadership and LTC Faulkner was personally selected to the “FED 100” List in 2012.  

He retired in August 2014 and has focused on building IQX since that time.  His education includes:  The Command & General Staff College, the Sustaining Base Leadership Management Course and a Master of Science in Administration (MSA).  His awards and decorations include the, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
