2015 W.R.A.P. Week - October 25 - November 1
October 25-November 1, 2015, is National White Ribbon Against Pornography (W.R.A.P.) week which brings together organizations and concerned citizens like you in a massive effort to educate the public on the harms of p*rnography and the many efforts and resources available nationwide.
EIE began a movement in 1992 to educate America about the harms of p*rnography and initiated a massive prevention effort in 1994 to make the Internet safer for children and families. The movement has grown over the decades with many new organizations joining the battle.
What We are Doing and What You can do To Help!
One year ago, we launched the The National P*rn Free WiFi Campaign urging both Starbucks and McDonald's to implement filtering technologies to block child p*rnography and p*rnography in their restaurants and cafes. The campaign began as an online petition with a goal to obtain 10,000 signatures. As of today, we have over 50,000 online signatures and 75 Partner Organizations supporting the National P*rn Free WiFi Campaign.
McDonald's has officially responded to the urgent call to action by stating, "looking into effective filtering in the U.S."
To date, we have not received a response from Starbucks.
Will you join in the movement to prevent the Internet-enabled sexual exploitation of children?
