GREAT FALLS, Va., September 1, 2015 - Comcast and Enough Is Enough® teamed up earlier this year to provide the Emmy award-winning "Internet Safety 101®" television series on Xfinity On Demand in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. The Program provides comprehensive educational programming for parents, educators and other caring adults to protect children from dangers online. After a successful run with thousands of views, the partnership continues with the introduction of the Spanish-dubbed version of the series this fall, just in time for back to school.
"Children as young as 2 years old have Internet access via their parents' smart phones and tablets. It's imperative that all parents understand how vital it is to implement the age-appropriate safety measures on all Internet-enabled devices used by their children," said President and CEO of Enough Is Enough® Donna Rice Hughes, who was nominated for an Emmy Award as the Program Host/Moderator. "We are thrilled to announce the premiere of the Spanish version of the series to reach the underserved Spanish-speaking population. It is our vision that thousands and even millions of Spanish-speaking parents and caring adults will now be educated and empowered to be the first line of defense to prevent Internet-initiated sexual exploitation of children."
The program was dubbed into Spanish by EIE's partner, Alliance College Ready Public Schools under the leadership of Gayle Miller, board member of both Alliance College Ready Public Schools and Enough Is Enough®. Alliance is the largest nonprofit charter organization in Los Angeles, comprised of 27 free, public charter high schools and middle schools serving 12,000 low-income students.

The Internet Safety 101® television series consists of three one-hour programs and is an invaluable and practical resource for any caregiver who may be uninformed, overwhelmed or ill-equipped to protect children in the ever-evolving Internet world. The television series covers the safety basics viewers need to know to become educated, equipped and empowered to protect children from p*rnography, sexual predators and cyberbullies, as well as how to keep kids safe on social networking sites, gaming and mobile devices to effectively protect children on all Internet-enabled devices.
