We Are In The News And Making Progress

Dear Friends,

We are very excited about the opportunities we are having at Enough Is Enough® and have a lot to share with you regarding our recent successes, many of which are happening as we speak!

And the timing is perfect since this week is National White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP) Week which brings together organizations and concerned citizens like you in a massive effort to educate the public on the harms of pornography and the many efforts and resources available nationwide.

What We are Doing and What You can do To Help!
1. October 27, 2014: The Washington Times published my Opinion Editorial entitled, "The Internet Pornography Pandemic: Hacked Photos Reveal The Proliferation of Sexual Exploitation". It includes commentary on the recent Jennifer Lawrence and Snapchat hacked photos, Stephen Collins story and John Grisholm comments, p*rnography's link to sexual predators, child p*rn and sex trafficking are also underscored. (See article)

October 27, 2014:
e issued a press statement entitled "Innocent Children Are Among The Internet P*rn*graphy Pandemic's Greatest Casualties" which includes the following:
  • "The Internet p*rn industry has exploded over the past twenty years and makes more than $3,000 a second.
  • "The Child Online Protection Commission report to Congress in 2000 included the recommendation that in order to "deter illegal activity on the Internet", the government must "fund aggressive programs to investigate, prosecute and report violations of federal and state obscenity laws..." This is a moral imperative.
  • "We urge President Obama to ensure that his next Attorney General make the implementation of the Commissions' recommendation top priority. No longer should the highest law enforcement official in the land be able to cherry pick which laws will be enforced and which will be ignored." (See statement)

4. We are gaining momentum on The National P*rn Free WiFi Campaignurging both Starbucks and McDonald's to implement filtering technologies to block child p*rnography and p*rnography in their restaurants and cafes. We are simply asking them to do the exact same thing they have already done in the U.K., Australia and other nations. We need your help to get thousands of petitions signed in the next month. If you haven't already, please sign the petition NOW and also help us get others to involved. We have great graphics and statistics to help you spread the word on Facebook and Twitter. Check out www.friendlywifi.orgto learn more and get involved.

As you can see, we  are making great strides in the ongoing war  against the pornography pandemic and we need your support in order to continue. Here's how you can help. Simply send this email to five of your friends who care about children, families and our country.

Yours in the Battle,
