Urgent Warning for Parent! VH1 to premier "Dating Naked" on Thursday, July 17, 2014
 

As you know, our focus here at EIE is to protect children online from pornography, sexual predators, cyberbullying and other online dangers. However, our media outlets have now converged whereby our TV's are now our computer monitors, our phones and tablets are our news sources and entertainment is more readily available online.

While we typically don't get involved in issuing warnings about inappropriate television and film programs, I am making an exception and passing along information from our friends and partners at Parents Television Council (PTC) regarding the new reality VH1 TV show, "Dating Naked" which premiers tonight 9:00 PM ET/PT, (meaning as early as 8:00 PM Central and Mountain). According to PTC, the reality dating show portrays their participants in the nude the entire episode, each episode. The entire program is predicated on barely pixilated, non-stop nudity!

I do urge you to use your parental controls to block this highly offensive show. PTC does a great job at generating positive change in the television industry just as we at EIE continue to make positive changes to make the Internet safer for children and families. To learn more about PTC's efforts, click here.
