After coming under fire from family advocates last October, Village Voice Media (VVM) late last week announced it is parting ways with an online site that runs ads of featuring child prostitutes. But trafficking experts say it’s not enough to help the more than 100,000 children who are forced into the sex trade each year.
...“Village Voice sent a loud, clear message that the business that they’ve been engaging in is unacceptable,” said Donna Rice, president of Enough is Enough, a nonprofit organization in Virginia dedicated to preventing Internet-initiated crimes against children.
