NASRO 21st Annual SRO Safety Conference
Enough Is Enough® Representative and former Administrator with the Office of Jevuenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, US Department of Justice, Bob Flores will be leading current and future School Resource Officers (SROs) and School Administrators through EIE's award-winning Internet Safety 101®SM curriculum. SRO's will attend Improve Adult Internet Safety Trainings with the Enough Is Enough®℠ (EIE) Internet Safety 101®℠ Program funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice. The award-winning multi-media program consists of a four part DVD teaching series, workbook and website. Developed to educate, equip and empower parents, educators and law enforcement to protect children from pornography, predators, cyberbullies, and to keep kids safe on social networking sites, gaming and mobile devices. Contains poignant stories and advice from industry leaders, psychologists, law enforcement, victims, parents, kids and a convicted sex offender. Can be used as a “plug ‘n play”, tailored for flexible a la carte use, with or without facilitator. Ideal for both small or large audiences.
Workshop participants will receive Train the Trainer instruction to use the 101 program in the field, SRO specific training regarding schools and legal issues. Participants from Virginia, Utah, South Carolina and Maryland will receive complimentary copies of the DVD teaching series and Rules N’ Tools℠ booklet. Other participants may request a copy of the program. Participants will receive an Internet Safety 101℠ Facilitator certificate at the end of the 3 hour workshop.
