National Harbor, MD: Donna Rice Hughes, President of Enough Is Enough®, (EIE) the pioneering Internet safety advocacy organization, applauds Ivanka Trump for shining a light in the conversation to stop Human Sex Trafficking.
Last summer, President Trump signed EIE’s Children’s Internet Safety Presidential Pledge in which he committed to enforce all of the federal laws to prevent the sexual exploitation of children including Sex Trafficking laws. A formal strategic plan of action with additional recommendations, The Children’s Internet Safety Presidential Proposal to End the Exploitation of Children, has been submitted to the White House.
“It is a positive sign that the President’s daughter and close advisor, Ivanka, has taken the lead in the White House to end these atrocities that harm so many women and children. This administration recognizes these unspeakable dangers and confronting it shows great leadership. We standby to help the White House end this exploitation of the most vulnerable in our society” said Mrs Hughes, EIE’s CEO and President who has been a pioneering Internet safety leader since 1994.
