This week in October marks the White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP) Week, (sometimes referred to "Pornography Awareness Week") which runs from Sunday, October 28 through Sunday, November 4, 2007. It's a week's emphasis to remind us of the need to take a stand against pornography in our individual lives, in the marketplace, in our homes and wherever we come across it.
*In 2006, worldwide pornography revenue was estimated at $97 billion; $12.992 billion for the United States. (Internet Filter Review, 2006)*
*79% of children's unwanted exposure to pornography occurs in the home. (Online Victimization of Youth: Five Years Later. 2006)*
