EIE’s esteemed Chairman of the Board, Lieutenant General Mick Kicklighter, kicked off our Team’s Matching Gift Fund, in which every member of our Board of Directors AND staff has contributed! In other words, we all have skin in the game.

Our goal is to raise $150,000 by the end of the year to advance our programs and initiatives, including: the Children's Internet Safety Pledges (Presidential, Governors and Attorneys General Pledges), EIE's Internet Safety 101^® Program, Safe WiFi^SM Campaign, and efforts to require greater corporate responsibility, improved best practices and ‘safer by design’ technologies.

Here are just some of our recent victories, thanks to our generous donors:

• Congress is proactively responding to our advocacy efforts, passing online child safety legislation unanimously out of committee this year alone;

• The multi-billion-dollar illegal online pornography industry, including Pornhub, is slowly unraveling;

• Big Tech is responding to our joint advocacy efforts for greater corporate responsibility, improved best practices and ‘safer by design’ technologies;

• Big Tech is beginning to unveil plans for child safety default features to be turned ‘on’ rather than ‘off’;

• The national media, one of EIE’s best allies for many years, continues to help us shine a light on digital dangers and safety solutions, and educate millions of households annually.
