"EIE's preventative work motivates parents to establish proactive Internet safety rules and also to use the technological tools necessary to help prevent children from being victimized by online predators. At NCMEC, we have seen how every new technological innovation can be used for harm. Parents must remain informed to protect their children from this threat; EIE plays a critical role in educating parents to be involved in their children's online life, and I thank them for their tremendous work to protect children nationwide."
