Cody D. Bateman

While there are numerous individuals positioning themselves as thought leaders, very few have the breadth and depth of global experience of Cody Bateman. Cody's experience is a blend of four successful entrepreneur endeavors coupled with creating and implementing corporate strategies for 27 Fortune 100 companies within the United States and more than a dozen global corporations. His operations expertise was built over the last 30 years leading large scale performance improvement deployments for multinational product and service companies. He has experience leading operational assessments and linking corporate strategy to focused improvement work for key client value streams. His deep expertise and engaging style have galvanized client leadership teams to challenge the status quo and drive substantive operational changes.

His consulting client experience spans many industries including financial services, technology, business services, telecommunications, retail and federal government. Cody has advised numerous Fortune 50 executive teams in the areas of Innovation, Business Strategy, and Operations Improvement (BPR). Cody is internationally recognized as one of the key founders of modern-day Customer Relationship Management solutions and advanced analytic algorithms use both in science and business.

His management skills include directing operations with more than four hundred participants including management, technical, programming, engineering and clerical personnel. He has also provided thought leadership in the areas of corporate governance, econometrics and forecasting. He is well known for his facilitation of concept feasibility studies, senior management overviews, budget controls, decision support, and training programs for projects. Many of his engagements required concurrent activities in North America, Europe and the Far East. Multi-national development efforts have utilized offshore development teams in both India and Argentina.

Many of the consulting engagements were completed while working directly with Ross Perot at Perot Systems and with Jack Welch at GE. These engagements enabled Cody to self-fund his research and start-ups as well as pay for an advanced 6000 sqft research and development in New Mexico where he continues to test and advance new technologies associated with hydrogen solutions.

Cody graduated in the top 10 of his class at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and holds a BS in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. In addition, he holds numerous certifications including Project Management Professional, dual certification as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Certified Business Continuity Professional, and as a Sarbanes-Oxley Professional.

Mr. Bateman has worked with numerous non-profits throughout the last 30 years. He was on the board of SAFY (www.safy.org) for 10 years and was the board chair for 3. He has also funded and attended missionary trips in 11 countries.
