Legal Community

While there is a need for additional legislation; the enforcement of existing child pornography and obscenity laws can go a long way in serving as a deterrent.

The Internet is full of graphic images of children and flatly gross depictions of obscene sex acts. EIE has an ongoing relationship with the Department of Justice to ensure that enforcement happens at the greatest extent possible.

Pursuant to a request from The Attorney General EIE has trained law enforcement on this troubling issue.

Additionally the organization has briefed the President and Congress many times.

EIE is frequently asked to provide live testimony on the subject and comment on legislation to properly respond to the problem.
