EIE has an ongoing relationship with the Department of Justice to ensure that existing laws to protect children online are aggressive and enforced. Law enforcement officials, as well as members of the Congress and White House administration call on EIE for its expertise on the issue of Internet safety. Furthermore, EIE frequently provides congressional testimony to address the most pressing Internet safety issues and comments on the effectiveness and usefulness of proposed legislation aimed at combating Internet predators and pornographers.
